When academic departments crow about “decolonising”, that implicitly puts White people into the role of “colonisers”, which indeed we are often called by minorities. We are being framed as the villains of history, uniquely evil and destructive, deserving of obliteration not just out of (subjective) petty revenge but even out of the (objective) altruistic desire for a just world. “Social justice” is starting to mean “no white people”.
