On March 27th, a Wednesday to remember, marked the start of an extraordinary partnership between GDSC AASTU and ALX. 🤝With over 170+ eager minds adorning the event in Blue-Carpet🚀, we embarked on an exhilarating journey, showcasing the unwavering dedication and support that GDSC AASTU extends to the tech communities at AASTU and beyond. It was spectacular!

Our dynamic hosts, Yeabsira Mekonnen and Mikias Goitom
from GDSC communication team, set the stage on fire🔥, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats and infusing every moment with excitement. Kicking off the proceedings, Aklile Seyoum, ALX Ambassador at AASTU, enlightened us about the essence of ALX and the opportunities it presents.

💫The panel discussion that ensued was inspiring, featuring six distinguished ALX alumni from AASTU🎓, including Amanuel Sisay, Heyeman Urgessa, Abdurahman Mustefa, Milkiyas, Aklile Seyoum (ALX AASTU Ambassador), and Abesolom Nekahiwot (Gold Fellow at the ROOM)🔥. Their narratives illuminated the tough yet fulfilling journey through the ALX SE (12-month boot camp), where perseverance and camaraderie were the cornerstones of success.🏆

After the panel, Amanuel Abebe, ALX AASTU Ambassador, and former GDSC lead, Hult Prize 24 Campus Director, discussed ALX's diverse courses and transformative prospects🤩. Then, attendees eagerly networked with ALX alumni, ambassadors, and the GDSC team during a lively snack session.🍩

After a brief intermission, an exhilarating game with t-shirt giveaways added a dash of fun🙌. Following this, guests from ALX, Rediet, and Meklit delivered compelling speeches, enhancing the program's appeal. 🎊Lastly, a surprise from our GDSC Lead, Lidiya Abraham: a half scholarship was awarded to one lucky attendee for an ALX course.
