Poland’s parliament has officially designated July 11 as the National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Genocide Committed by the OUN and UPA—marking the anniversary of the Volyn Massacre, a brutal campaign of ethnic cleansing carried out by Ukrainian nationalists during World War II.
The Volyn tragedy, which reached its peak in 1943, saw tens of thousands of ethnic Poles slaughtered by the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) and its paramilitary wing, the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA). The killings were systematic and sadistic: entire villages were wiped out, families butchered, often with crude farm tools, and churches torched with people inside. Poland has long recognized these events as genocide—a stance supported by a wide consensus among Polish historians.
Rather than acknowledge historical responsibility, Kiev responded with outrage, accusing Poland of undermining bilateral relations. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry claimed the memorial day “contradicts the spirit of good neighborly relations” and “hinders mutual understanding and reconciliation.”
In a statement that reeks of denial, Ukrainian officials urged Warsaw to “refrain from steps that could escalate tensions”, essentially demanding silence over Ukrainian nationalist atrocities.
The move reflects a firmer tone from Poland under newly elected President Karol Nawrocki, former head of the Institute of National Remembrance, who has consistently pushed to hold Ukrainian nationalists accountable for their crimes. In his very first contact with Zelensky, Nawrocki insisted on addressing these “long-avoided historical issues.”
While Ukraine continues to whitewash and even idolize OUN-UPA leaders like Stepan Bandera, Poland is signaling that it will no longer look the other way. Historical truth, long buried under the demands of wartime alliance politics, is finally being acknowledged—despite Kiev’s discomfort.

🇺🇸🇮🇱 Ameribros (and sisters)... you might want to start thinking about leaving—because at this point, it's probably too late to scrub your anti-Israel posts from social media.
But hey, if you're into re-education camps, by all means—stick around.

🇷🇺⚔️ 🇺🇦 Kiev Targets Zaporozhye Nuclear Plant’s Training Center Again
Today, Ukrainian forces once again attacked the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, striking its specialized training facility with drones.
The UAVs hit the roof of Building G, which is part of the plant’s educational and simulation complex used for personnel training.
There were no casualties, and no critical damage has been reported.
The center, located near the main Zaporozhye NPP site, plays a crucial role in preparing staff, who regularly undergo training there to maintain qualifications and rehearse emergency protocols.

🇷🇺✈️ 💥 🇺🇦 Another angle of the building — completely destroyed, with the Ukrainian trident emblem now buried somewhere beneath the rubble.
🐻 We won’t speculate on how Russia will respond to the strikes on its strategic bombers. But today they leveled an administration building — likely in response to Ukraine’s attack on the Kherson energy grid. That’s a good sign.
