In a statement to Reuters, IAEA head Rafael Grossi claimed that the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) cannot be restarted under current conditions. Here's what he said — and why it doesn’t hold up.

1. Cooling Water — The Only Valid Concern

Grossi: “There’s no water available to cool the reactors.”

This is the only technically sound concern raised. However, the Russians have made it clear they are committed to restarting the plant — and that includes solving the water issue. We are sure they have plans to address this.

2. Electricity Supply — Already Being Addressed

Grossi: “There is no stable electricity supply to the site.”

According to reports, Russia is actively building new power lines to integrate ZNPP into its own energy grid. The process is underway and progressing steadily. This is a temporary issue being resolved — not a permanent obstacle.

3. Equipment Inspection — Not a Problem for the Builders

Grossi: “All systems must be thoroughly checked after three years of inactivity.”

Obvious and expected — but hardly a real obstacle. The Russian specialists who built the damn plant clearly know how to inspect and maintain it. We've seen operations at the site firsthand, so this isn't speculation.

4. Political Certification — A Convenient Excuse

Grossi: “Russian engineers are technically capable, but political certification is an issue.”

Here’s where we agree. The IAEA’s reluctance has nothing to do with safety and everything to do with Western politics. We visited ZNPP just two months ago. Grossi and his team do have access to the facility, but consistently ignore facts that contradict the Western narrative. We've documented this multiple times.

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva stated that Western countries bear partial responsibility for the war in Ukraine. Speaking to Le Monde, he revealed that former U.S. President Joe Biden explicitly expressed a desire to “destroy Russia” during private conversations.

“Joe Biden, with whom I had long discussions, believed that Russia must be destroyed. And Europe, which once played the role of a moderate force, has now aligned with Washington and is pouring billions into rearmament. That worries me. As long as the focus is only on war, there will never be peace,” Lula said.

“After three years of war, no one benefits from continued fighting. Putin knows he won’t get everything, and Zelensky knows it too. It’s time to sit down and talk. Enough with bombs, deaths, and destruction,” Lula said.

He criticized the war’s origins but focused on peace:

“This war should never have started. Putin made a mistake by choosing to invade, but diplomacy should have prevailed long before it reached this point.”

Lula stressed Brazil’s commitment to peace and regretted the missed opportunity for talks in Turkey:

“I told Putin it’s time to end the war and advised him to meet with Zelensky. It’s unfortunate that meeting never happened.”

🏁⚔️🇷🇺 NATO Satellites Aided SBU Strike on Olenya Airbase

NATO satellites were directly involved in the June 1 Ukrainian sabotage attempt on Russia’s Olenya airbase. Beyond passive surveillance, they assisted the SBU with target intel and planning.

🛰 American TOPAZ military satellites captured 102 detailed images of the Kola Peninsula in the final week of May. Most were high to maximum resolution—enough to pinpoint objects to within meters.

➡️24 images targeted the non-strategic nuclear weapons depot at Bolshoye Ramozero.

➡️20 images were taken of Olenya itself.

➡️Naval bases at Nerpichya (17) and Gadzhiyevo (16) were also heavily surveilled.

➡️11 passes focused on the Kilpyavr airfield and equipment near Murmansk.

✈️ On top of that, US, Norwegian, and Swedish reconnaissance and anti-submarine aircraft—P-8As and a Gulfstream IV SIGINT jet—flew missions near the area in late May.

The June 1 attack failed, but the lesson is clear: the West’s growing satellite and ISR activity is a warning sign. Russia must act before these “monitoring” missions turn into direct strikes.

📝NATO Keeps an Eye on UAF Attacks📝

While the Ukrainian side conducts one strike after another, NATO’s reconnaissance aviation is observing events “with eyes wide open.” Today, during the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ (UAF) strike on the Crimea Bridge, the situation was no different.

▪️South of Kerch, at a relatively close distance of just over 100 km, between 09:00 and 14:30 (local time), the U.S. high-altitude U-2S aircraft was operating, monitoring both our forces’ activities and Ukrainian unmanned surface vessels (USVs).

▪️In addition, over the western part of the Black Sea, flights were recorded by Italy’s B-350ER signals intelligence aircraft and by the U.S. ARTEMIS-equipped CL-650, which was patrolling along the Romanian coastline.

▪️Another noteworthy aircraft was operating near Zmeinyi Island: the Turkish E-7T AWACS, which, for the second time this week, has been flying in support of Ukrainian formations under the NATO framework.

▪️Also, over the Holitsyn gas-production platforms, one or two Tekever AR5 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been flying continuously for over a week—typically operating in tandem with unmanned surface vessels. For example, on two consecutive nights, these Tekever UAVs guided USVs toward the Tendrovskaya Spit.

🖍Such a high level of reconnaissance activity—especially when more than four aircraft are involved—constitutes a complex operation aimed at identifying our positions, tracking our tactics, and maintaining objective oversight of UAF actions.

🚩 Yes, it might seem at some point that these flights become routine, but a comprehensive analysis relies on gathering information, accumulating data, and drawing specific conclusions.

❗️Here again is the point: it’s impossible to ignore NATO’s activities in the Black Sea region. For instance, similarly high activity was observed recently in the Kola Peninsula. And we all know where that led.
