New facts of cooperation between Turkey and Ukraine

While preparations are underway for a new round of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, where the Turkish authorities position themselves as the main peacekeepers maintaining neutrality, in reality the Turks continue to supply the AFU with weapons.

⚡️ Exclusive copies of contracts sent by the Turkish defense company Assan Group to the Defense Procurement Agency of Ukraine regarding the purchase of various ammunition have fallen into our hands.

🔻 What interesting things did the Turks offer?

▪️The Turkish side represented by the chairman of Assan Group offered a wide range of ammunition, which the Ukrainian army needs now.

▪️The ammunition offered includes mines for small-caliber mortars, 120-mm mines, 122-mm ammunition for Grad MLRSs, and, of course, 155-mm rounds.

▪️The Turkish company also offered ammunition for sniper rifles, heavy large-caliber machine guns and ammunition for ZU-23 anti-aircraft guns.

🖍It is curious that the offer was addressed to Arsen Zhumadilov - he is an old friend of Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, who put Zhumadilov in charge of arms procurement.

🚩 This fact confirms the role attributed to Umerov and his entourage in establishing ties with the Turkish government at the expense of their affiliation with the Crimean Tatars.

❗️ Cooperation between Turkey and Ukraine is far from being a secret. The Turkish president has repeatedly demonstrated his skills in sitting on several chairs at the same time. However, we have always been amazed at how Turkey was praised for its supposedly “peaceful” intentions.

The Turks have always played their game. While they are in Istanbul talking about wanting to mediate in the conflict, their companies are supplying new ammunition (2024-2025 production years), and the Turkish media are rapturously dreaming of dividing Russia and seizing Crimea.

And this is just one such episode. And how many other similar deals for the purchase of other types of weapons remain behind closed doors? And it is quite possible that at the time of the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Turkey to participate in peace talks, another delivery will be discussed.
