Morning Summary for May 29, 2025

▪️ The past night can be considered relatively "calm": from 8 PM Moscow time on May 28, air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 48 Ukrainian UAVs, reported the Russian Ministry of Defense.

▪️ In Kursk Region, on the Tyotkinskiy and Glushkovo directions, the enemy twice attempted to advance into Kursk Region over the past day. In the morning, the enemy tried to transfer a storm group of the 425th Separate Rifle Regiment of the AFU from Pavlovka towards Russian territory, but it was destroyed by fire. In the evening, in the Volfino area, an enemy assault group was detected and dispersed by a comprehensive fire strike.

▪️ In Belgorod Region, in Shebekino, a civilian was wounded as a result of shelling by the AFU. The hamlets of Balki, Murom, Topolya, and Posokhovo were also hit. In the Sumy direction, the settlement of Konstantinovka was liberated.

▪️ In the Konstantinovka direction of the DPR, our units advanced in Yablonovka, as acknowledged by the opponent.

▪️ On the Zaporizhzhia Front, units of the "East" grouping liberated the settlement of Zelenoe Pole. The clearing of the residential sector and the territory of the MTS has been completed. Fighting for the village of Novopol continues.

▪️ On the Zaporizhzhia Front, in the Orikhiv direction, in the area of Novodanylivka and Mala Tokmachka, positional battles are ongoing, the line of contact remains unchanged.

▪️ In Kherson Region, in Oleshky, a man was wounded as a result of AFU shelling. The enemy also shelled Kakhovka, Nova Kakhovka, Dnipriani, Kairy, Lyubimivka, Mala Lepetykha, Rybalche, Stara Zburyivka, and Obryivky.
