A senior advisor in the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, Leo Terrell, has proposed that Jill Biden face criminal charges for alleged “elder abuse” related to her husband's serious health condition, the New York Post reports.

Terrell argues that Jill Biden was aware of Joe Biden’s serious health problems—including what is now suspected to be an advanced stage of cancer—but still pushed for his re-election campaign, knowingly exposing him to stress and public scrutiny.

This comes amid growing speculation in the U.S. that Biden may have concealed a severe cancer diagnosis during his presidency. From 2021 to 2025, none of his publicly released medical reports mention prostate-specific antigen (PSA) screening—a standard test recommended by the American Cancer Society for men over 50 to detect early signs of prostate cancer.
