Ukrainian political analyst Ruslan Bortnik says Kiev’s delegation in Istanbul issued direct threats to Moscow, vowing continued war and pushing for harsher sanctions — something local media conveniently ignores.

“Everyone is focused on Moscow’s ultimatums, especially our press. That’s part of an information campaign to portray Russia as the aggressor — but no one is asking what we said in response. And there were responses,” Bortnik said, as quoted by PolitNavigator.

He added:

“We [Ukraine] said we are ready to continue the war, we’ll push for maximum sanctions, we’ll file lawsuits in international courts. We believe the war should reach Russian territory — your borders are not protected. That’s what the Ukrainian leadership told them.”

Meanwhile, Kiev media has chosen not to report on any of these statements.
