We will discuss how to protect ourselves, knowing that Russia is a threat. We see China's military capabilities growing, we know that terrorist threats are real. We need to make sure that we spend enough money to keep NATO countries safe.
Look at Russia. They are very successful in this. We need to beat them in the defense, military industry. And, of course, we need to do everything to make Ukraine win.

🇷🇺🔫 Kalashnikov Unveils Compact AK-12 Variants Designed for Urban Combat
Russia’s Kalashnikov Concern has officially unveiled two new compact assault rifle variants—the AK-12K and AK-12SK—developed based on frontline experience in the Ukraine conflict. The rifles were presented to national media during a special workshop at the Kalashnikov Shooting Center in the Russian military's Patriot Park.
According to Kalashnikov CEO Alan Lushnikov, the demand for shorter automatic weapons has grown significantly, especially for use in dense urban environments. “These models have received strong interest from domestic security forces and performed exceptionally well in combat testing,” he said.
Both models are chambered in 5.45×39mm and are designed for high maneuverability while retaining lethal efficiency. They support a variety of ammunition types including standard 7N6, high-penetration 7N10, and tracer rounds 7T3 and 7T3M. Each rifle uses 30-round magazines and is compatible with a suppressor weighing under 0.8 kg.
Key Specs:
➡️ AK-12K
- Weight (unloaded): 3.4 kg
- Barrel length: 290 mm
- Length: 810 mm (combat) / 570 mm (compact)
➡️ AK-12SK
- Weight (unloaded): 3.2 kg
- Barrel length: 228 mm
- Length: 750 mm (combat) / 500 mm (compact)
Lushnikov added that Kalashnikov now offers a complete lineup of small arms across different calibers and sizes, providing ready-made weapon system solutions for military and security clients.

🇺🇦🇹🇷 Zelensky Calls Russian Delegation Led by Medinsky a "Sham"
Zelensky dismissed the Russian delegation headed by Vladimir Medinsky as a mere "sham," implying it lacks seriousness or legitimacy.
He stated that Ukraine will announce its position on participating in negotiations with Russia only after his upcoming meeting with Turkish President Erdoğan—an encounter he claimed might take several hours.
🐻 One can’t help but wonder—was the “sham” label really about the delegation’s makeup, or is Zelensky simply nervous about the high-ranking GRU figures sitting across the table?
