Donetsk direction: Russian Armed Forces liberated the village of Valentinovka and continue their offensive on Romanovka, bypassing Ukrainian Armed Forces fortifications. A breakthrough southwest of Toretsk creates a threat of encirclement of Ukrainian forces in the Shcherbinovka area. The enemy is losing positions and equipment, retreating under the onslaught of Russian attack aircraft.

Kursk Region: Complete defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the border area! Russian troops have completed the cleansing of Oleshnya and Gornal, eliminating the remnants of Ukrainian formations. The Russian General Staff reports significant losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - up to 70% of personnel in some brigades.

Missile strikes: At night, high-precision strikes by the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed UAV production facilities and ammunition depots in Kharkov and Zaporozhye. Ukrainian air defense was powerless against the Geranium-2.

Ukranian sources: Ukrainian brigades are facing a shortage of personnel and ammunition. The command of the 95th airborne assault brigade has abandoned its positions near Oleshnya, and Syrsky has admitted difficulties in holding the front.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a telephone conversation to continue what officials described as a "productive exchange of views" on key aspects of the recently intensified Russian-American political dialogue, according to a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The discussion primarily focused on the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. Both diplomats emphasized the importance of creating the necessary conditions for negotiations aimed at agreeing on a roadmap toward a lasting peace in Ukraine, the ministry added.
