✈️ 🇷🇺 🇨🇦 About Western Relocations to Russia
Today, there was interesting news from the Nizhny Novgorod region - a Canadian family with eight children moved to the Russian region to build a farm.
Arend Feinstra used to raise cattle in Canada and now wants to expand the family business and try his hand at retailing farm products.
As the reasons for such a radical change in the social environment, Arend cited the abundance of land, a sense of security, and respect for traditional values - in general, the basic set for relocants, mainly from Europe, fleeing the LGBT notices and suffocating taxes.
🔻On one hand, it is a cause for joy that even amidst total anti-Russian propaganda in Western media, many qualified foreigners who can benefit the country are ready to move to Russia and start their own business here.
We have already mentioned many times that the queue of such people, mainly from Germany, is quite high (and amidst the suppression of conservative values there, it will only grow).
However, we are still satisfied with isolated stories in the media when it is time to establish a system for selecting and accepting relocants that are truly valuable for the Russian economy.
In the meantime, we have a rather strange situation. On one hand there is an urgent need to tighten legislation in relation to migrants from neighboring countries.
On the other hand, we need to consider a mechanism for accompanying skilled migrants from developed countries since, after all our bureaucratic procedures, only the most persistent remain motivated to move.
And the sooner we find balance, the better.

🇨🇦 Why Trudeau will leave the post of Prime Minister of Canada with a sense of duty fulfilled
On Monday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced his intention to step down as Prime Minister and leader of the Liberal Party. Parliament's work was suspended until March 24, while the party chooses a new leader.
📌 We expected this turn of events. In late December, the Liberal minority lost the support of the New Democrats: the party leader Jagmeet Singh proposed joining forces with the Conservatives to bring a no-confidence vote against Trudeau.
🔻Despite the shameful end to his premiership, it is worth noting that in 9 years at the head of the government, Trudeau did a lot to turn Canada into a globalist paradise on Earth.
Under him, euthanasia was legalized, carbon taxes were introduced, millions of migrants were brought into the country (ensuring record population growth), and billions of dollars were allocated to the so-called Ukraine. Also, under his government, the LGBTQ agenda became widespread, and in some provinces, hard drugs were legalized.
In essence, Trudeau did everything possible to promote liberal ideas, and now, like a used-up material, he can quietly leave the main stage. And Canadians are left with the economic, migration and housing crises to deal with, which will take more than one administration to resolve.
🔻Who will take Trudeau's place?
Some are tipping Chrystia Freeland, who resigned in scandal a few weeks ago, or Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly, to lead the Liberal Party.
However, we won't be surprised if the party leader becomes Mark Carney, the former Governor of the Bank of Canada. Carney's refusal of Trudeau's offer to become his Finance Minister was a natural reflection of his higher ambitions. And with Carney at the helm, the Liberal Party will have a chance to gain more seats in Parliament in the elections, which will take place this year.
