Herzog framed Iran’s nuclear program as a “clear and immediate threat” to both Israel and global security, echoing familiar Israeli rhetoric used to justify military action.

“I thank the countries and leaders who support Israel’s right to defend itself,” he said—just days before the G7 summit in Canada.

He accused Iran’s leadership of seeking Israel’s destruction and called for a united international front. “For decades, the Ayatollah regime has worked toward one goal: to annihilate Israel,” he claimed.
