The Czech company Excalibur Army announced that they will begin final assembly of the CAESAR 8x8 in June. Prior to this, employees underwent training at the KDNS plant, confirming their readiness.

40% of Caesars will be manufactured in the Czech Republic. Excalibur Army is responsible for final assembly, Retia for communications and fire control equipment, Tatra Defence Vehicles and Tatra Trucks for the cabin and chassis.

In total, the Czech Republic ordered 62 units of French artillery.

The Haitian government has formally contracted Erik Prince—founder of Blackwater and longtime Trump ally—to conduct lethal drone and ground operations against gangs threatening to overrun Port-au-Prince, The New York Times reports.
