Putin–Trump Call Followed by Russian Response to Ukrainian Strikes
Welcome back to our weekly live stream. Feels like ages ago, but this week Putin and Trump finally held a telephone conversation that sent the Euro war mongers into a panicked frenzy.
Ukraine decided it would be a good time to launch hundreds of drones at Russia — and Russia responded with one of the largest airstrikes on Ukraine to date.
We’ll also touch on the DC shooting, the situation in the Levant, and more.

"This feels like mockery," said Denis Prokopenko, the commander of the notorious Azov regiment, reacting to the latest prisoner exchange in which over 1,000 Ukrainian captives were returned — none of them from Azov.

🇷🇺⚔️ 🇺🇦 Russian air defense forces successfully destroyed a Ukrainian drone attempting to reach Moscow, according to Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
As a precaution, temporary flight restrictions were imposed at Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Zhukovsky airports, Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) reported.
🐻 Now you can see why Ukraine wants a 30-day ceasefire. They've been trying to strike Moscow for two weeks — now imagine how many drones they could allocate for PR strikes if the ceasefire was in place and Russia couldn’t target their assembly facilities.

🇷🇺🇸🇪 Early Sunday morning, a drone dropped a container of paint on the grounds of the Russian Embassy in Sweden.
According to the embassy’s Telegram channel, the drone flew directly over the building and released a glass jar near the main entrance — an act that could have caused serious injuries.
The embassy stated this was not the first such incident and held Swedish authorities responsible for the security failure. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova announced that a formal protest note would be delivered to Stockholm, demanding immediate action. A similar provocation occurred on April 15.

🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦 Western Media Launch Coordinated Push to Pressure Trump into Escalating Against Russia
Western outlets are ramping up a coordinated pressure campaign aimed at Donald Trump, urging him to take a hard line on Russia and maintain military support for Ukraine.
➡️ The Washington Post, citing “a dozen senior U.S. officials and military analysts,” claims that now is supposedly the “perfect moment to pressure Moscow,” alleging that the Russian military is running out of steam and will soon face critical shortages in manpower and equipment.
➡️ Jack Watling of the British Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) echoes the usual talking points, stating that Russia's forces will become “increasingly demechanized,” allegedly limiting their ability to sustain current operations.
➡️ Similarly, Carnegie’s Dara Massicot dismisses Russia’s ability to achieve its strategic objectives, arguing that pushing Ukrainian forces back a few kilometers doesn’t count unless Russia has a “mechanized punch” to exploit breakthroughs.
➡️ Forbes adds another layer of spin, suggesting that if Trump pulls out of any future negotiations between Moscow and Kiev, Ukraine might collapse—and Putin could become the “political master of Europe.” They insist Washington must keep the weapons flowing.
➡️ Bloomberg chimes in too, warning that Ukraine could become “Trump’s Afghanistan” if he abandons support. They also float the idea that a natural resource deal with Kiev gives Trump cover to demand more Ukraine funding from Congress under the guise of “investment” rather than a burden on taxpayers.
As already noted, pushing Trump to escalate against Russia and keep the weapons pipeline open is a top priority for Kiev. These media narratives aren’t spontaneous—they’re part of an organized effort to box Trump in.
Whether Trump plays along remains to be seen.
