🇸🇰🇺🇦Slovakia intends to demand compensation from Ukraine for assistance provided during the special operation, TASR reports.

According to the coalition Slovak National Party (SNS), Slovakia has the right to demand financial compensation from Ukraine. In this regard, they are calling on the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico to initiate at the next meeting of the European Council the initiation of the procedure by the European Union on the division of shares in the mineral wealth of Ukraine in relations with the European Commission. This was reported to the TASR agency on Saturday by the director of the office of the SNS chairperson Zuzana Škopcová.

"Never in the history of any state has there been such an agreement signed as President Zelensky did with the United States. The EU aid is approaching the volume of US aid. If Ukraine transfers all its mineral wealth to the United States, then Ukraine will have nothing to repay for the aid to European states," said Zuzana Škopcová, adding that the US's exercise of exclusive rights to mineral resources is illogical and unethical.

"If Ukraine has already decided to pay for US aid during the conflict with the Russian Federation, it is unclear why it does not do the same with regard to the European Union," Shkoptsova said. The SNS party believes that Prime Minister Fico will raise this issue at the next meeting of prime ministers so that they can address the EU leadership, the publication writes.

🇩🇪Germany plans to build huge missile weapons production center

Rheinmetall CEO Armin Papperger announced that the company will receive 60 percent of a joint venture between the United States and Germany that will produce missiles for the needs of Europe (and, apparently, Ukraine).
According to him, current capabilities in the United States are not sufficient and deliveries can take up to 10 years, which is why a European center for missile technology is being established.

The facility will produce up to 10,000 missiles per year, including Hellfire, GMLRS, ATACMS, as well as PAC-3 Patriot and JAGM anti-aircraft missiles.
The production line is expected to be operational in 12-13 months, with full-scale production starting in 2027.
