Russian ballistic missiles have been upgraded, making them significantly harder to intercept—even with American-made Patriot systems.

This admission came from Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, following a Russian missile strike on Kiev overnight.

According to Ihnat, Russia’s Iskander-M missiles are now equipped with radar decoys that are released during the terminal phase of flight, complicating interception. Moreover, the missiles are no longer following simple ballistic paths but are now maneuvering mid-flight along quasi-ballistic trajectories, making it harder for Patriot systems to calculate interception points.

On France's interference in the Romanian elections

Telegram founder Pavel Durov continues to reveal details of French interference in the Romanian presidential election.

Durov wrote that the head of French foreign intelligence Nicolas Lerner visited Romania two days before the second round. And on the eve of that, Macron's closest ally, MEP Valérie Hayer, stated that "everything will be done" to ensure the next president of Romania is pro-European.

🖍Recall that Durov expressed readiness to come to Romania and testify about French interference in the elections. Following the securing of Kursk Region, over 50,000 Russian troops have now been concentrated near Kharkov.

Analysts believe a large-scale offensive has been in preparation for some time and could begin soon, with an estimated four-month window before weather conditions become less favorable. A Ukrainian commander admitted that Russia is clearly preparing for offensive operations.

At one point, two Patriot air defense systems activated simultaneously in an attempt to intercept incoming Iskander ballistic missiles. Their efforts failed—at 1:16 in the video, at least one missile is seen hitting its target.

Some Geran drones also appear to have struck the Patriot launchers themselves, though due to the camera angle this cannot be confirmed with absolute certainty.
