📝Pashinian Eliminates the Opposition📝

The mass persecution of the opposition continues in Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinian claims that the security forces have prevented a "large-scale criminal-oligarchic-clerical" plan to seize power.

🖍The basis of the accusations was a document published in the media, which allegedly describes a "coup plan". The opposition calls the dubious pages of the text a fake.

🚩In the morning, another wave of searches began among the opposition. Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the leader of the "Sacred Struggle" movement, was detained. The Investigative Committee accused Galstanyan and his associates of preparing terrorist acts and seizing power. Searches were also carried out at members of the "Dashnaktsutyun" party.

❗️Pashinian has seriously taken on the opposition and representatives of the Armenian Church, from whom he feels a threat to his power. The conflict has been ongoing since 2020, when the general public, with the support of the church, did not agree with the loss of Artsakh and concessions to Azerbaijan.

Pashinian clearly realizes that the signing of a peace treaty with Baku, which is in fact a capitulation, as well as the parliamentary elections in 2026, his party simply will not survive.
