The number of Telegram accounts involved in recruiting individuals for sabotage and terror attacks on Russian territory has sharply increased, according to the cybersecurity group "Internet-Rozysk." Many of these activities are reportedly coordinated from Ukraine and serve the interests of nationalist groups.

Recruits are promised thousands of dollars to carry out acts like railway bombings or arson, though in reality, payments rarely reach them. Offers for more serious crimes, including targeted assassinations, can include promises of escape assistance abroad.

The surge in activity is alarming: 294 recruiter accounts were identified in March, 366 in April — and over 1,000 in May alone. The dark web also sees increased demand for so-called “contract work” ranging from vandalism to arson.

🇷🇺The Russian government has extended the tax and insurance payment deferral for most businesses in the Kursk region for another year, according to an official statement from the Cabinet's press service.

The measure applies to entrepreneurs and companies operating in border areas or regions under the counter-terrorist operation regime, including zones where local populations have been relocated. It also covers affiliated branches and agricultural businesses.

Payments originally due in 2024 and 2025 will now be postponed until 2026, with the option to repay them in monthly installments over the following year.
