Analysts at Europe’s biggest bank HSBC have turned bullish on Chinese stocks, arguing the worst of a regulatory storm has passed and that Beijing will provide policy support to arrest slowing growth.

Oil Plunges To 2-Week Low On U.S. Inventory Shock, Rise In Covid - 19 Cases

Brent Oil was trading 0.75% down at $83.32.

Oil prices slumped to their lowest in two weeks after official figures showed a surprise jump in U.S. inventories of crude, and rising cases of COVID-19 in Europe, Russia, and some outbreaks of infections in China dented hopes for an economic recovery.

Brent crude dropped 94 cents, or 1.1%, to $83.64 a barrel by 0655 GMT, having hit a two-week low of $82.32 earlier and fallen by 2.1% in the previous session.

Brent Oil, RSI Stood at 54.599, the current price is trading above the Moving Averages 20 & 50. So, a Buy trade can be executed with the following target and stop-loss:

European stock markets are expected to open with small losses Tuesday, handing back some of the previous session’s gains ahead of the start of an eagerly-awaited Federal Reserve meeting.

At 2 AM ET (0700 GMT), the DAX futures contract in Germany traded 0.2% lower, CAC 40 futures in France dropped 0.1% and the FTSE 100 futures contract in the U.K. fell 0.2%.
