What I already like in rollable compared to foldable:

✅ ‘Smartphone mode’ display is bigger
✅ Thinner when rolled / folded
✅ One display instead of two
✅ Adjustable between minimum and maximum sizes
✅ Auto motorized open and close
✅ No crease

First impressions, I don’t like this design. Doesn’t look beautiful. Nothing special.

But I like big camera lenses. That’s good. But why only two? Where is proper zoom lens? 3-5x optical zoom? I need it on Pro device.

First interesting detail is its display size. 6.55” - smaller than the last year 6.78” (8 Pro) That’s an ok change. Maybe it indicates that there will be a third Pro+ / Ultra model with bigger screen but idk 🤷🏻‍♂️

Second interesting detail is the new camera module. I like that there are big lenses, but, why only two? 🤨 I want to see a proper zoom lens with 5x optical zoom... Where is it? In Pro+ / Ultra model? It better be...

Overall there is nothing special in this design that I like... just a regular smartphone design with nothing fancy... sadly. Now I’m a little less excited about the OnePlus next Pro model...

I really hope, that if there is no third Pro+ / Ultra model, this one will get more interesting in camera department... I really want to see a 5x optical zoom lens in OnePlus flagship...

Allegedly Samsung confirmed the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 with S Pen and Under-Display Camera, coming in June next year 🙌

What can I say... This is just an incredible device for people like me. For fans of mobile technologies and geeks. Finally something new and unusual. Thanks to Samsung for making this innovations. I’m sure that someday this tech will become more available to a wider audience 👌

For me, this symbiosis of phone and tablet worked great. For quick things, the cover screen is great, but if you have a minute and free hands, you open a large and beautiful display and just enjoy it 🙏

But, I noticed something about me, that after all, for the last 2 weeks I have been taking only one smartphone with me, it's just more convenient. It's not Fold. Fold stays at home. I take my iPhone with me. With it I do my work, I take pictures, make Instagram Stories, and so on. Fold is more for fun. Although productivity definitely increases with it, since you can easily open three applications and work with them at the same time 💪

Well, this is my thoughts, tell me what do you think about this form factor and is it the future of smartphones, or we should expect another tech coming? 👀
