Howdie dear Aurum Spirits 🐬
We had a blessed day on Cape Breton Island...blessed by nature, blessed by people, blessed by opportunties 🌈
Starting with another beautiful sunrise above the ocean, including a deer-backyard-visit 🌅 our first stop was again at the "Friends United Culture center" with Rolf & Elena, studying maps, talking about different land options, company-structure and working-permits we soon went off into nature to look at the "Moosehorn Lake Estates" which were wonderful, large (45ha), with lots of wood, including 2 lakes and a semi-island where you also could build one or two neat cottages!
After that we visited a smaller lot directly at the ocean, which was in a veeery quiet bay with lots of mussels (the name of the bay was mussel island..of course)...could be fitting for a "little" pretty private refugium there 😉
We were lucky with the weather, because after we finished our main tour it started raining... Buyin some dinner snacks our final destination for the day was one of the offices of Rolf located at the very south in Port Hawkesbury where a lot of industry is to be found (like the worlds most modern paper production). But also the whales, dolphines, seals and hawks in the cove make this place something special between mainland Nova Scotia and the island. 🐋
There Rolf continued to share his insights deriving from 35 years experience in Canada and last showed us a huge map with aaaaall the lots (really MANY) they have developed within the surrounding of about 200km. Very impressive...we got a great overview where to find everything we have seen so far and what is still to be seen next week 🌲🌲🌲
Tomorrow we will continue with Frank, our second land developer who has not as much years to show off but still a lot to share. Looking forward and hoping the weather gods are again kind with us 🌞
Time for bed, since wake ups are early... Have a beautiful day and lots of light to you and good old Europe ❣️ Enjoy the picutres and videos giving you even more impressons of our special mission here 🤗
