Less than six months ago, after almost a year of development in isolation due to the covid, we brought Kosmykes to the players at Play in Modena.

You never forget your first fair ❀️

Clearly, we wanted more of that: we are going to be in Modena again in May! Get ready, because there's a lot of explosive new stuff πŸ’£

Will you be there at Play 2022? πŸ˜ƒ
This will fire on your table πŸ”₯

Meet one more spaceship from the Tablescope fleet! 🌌

πŸ“Š The Viper isn't among the fastest units but it shoots with a heavy beam on one side and it is protected by a prominent shield on the other. It's great to take down big enemy units or to protect one of your lighter spaceships from an annoying beam.

Shooting soon on your table with the Tablescope Telegram bot πŸ“·πŸ’₯
Our very own Emanuele. The mind behind the eye of Tablescope, the hands behind the code, the wizard behind the magic of computer vision for tabletop gamers ❀

Tireless. Even at fairs. The photo is from Play 2021. Let's see what he pulls out of his hat for the 2022 edition.
The sky of Kosmykes under the sky of Piazza Unità in Trieste. What a great experience was the Maker Faire 2021 ⭐
We'll bring you Light Speed, Kosmykes and, if you insist, we'll also tell you something about the projects that are still in the secret construction site of our headquarters, which, for the curious, is neither in Isengard nor in Mordor, despite the eye in our logo.

Come and visit us! <3

And what about you, what expectations do you have for the big return of Play to the usual May?
We are in the list of the of the official giveaways at Play πŸ”₯ https://play-modena.it/news/gadget-and-omaggi-per-i-visitatori/

We already made public our companion Telegram bot for the Light Speed card game! The print&play will be released in a few days but you can already give it a try with the demo photo :)

Gioconomicon writes about us among the new releases at PLAY 2022! 🀯

'Tablescope comes to Play 2022 with some interesting (and innovative) proposals. LightSpeed is clearly a new version of Cheapass' famous real-time game. It is a tabletop shooter, and will be present in a free print&play version; the special feature is that the game is mediated by a bot on Telegram, which solves the game situation using a picture from the current game. Another novelty, again a digital hybrid board game based on computer vision, is Kosmykes, which will be present in Modena in its puzzle/cooperative version (the competitive mode is still in development): each player places his mushrooms, and then tries to "visualize" in his mind how the clouds of spores will move and interact, so as to place other tiles to take advantage of the situation; the challenge lies in the fact that the spores will be visualized only at the end of the game by taking a picture of the table and using the game app.'
After months of development made of sleepless nights, digital and analog playtests, and exchanges with other players and fellow game designers, we're there!

πŸ”₯ Here is the Telegram bot to support your Light Speed games! Take a picture of the playing area, share it within the chat and watch the battle unfold!

πŸ‘‰ Try it right now with the demo photo provided by the bot!

What about the print&play?

Right, without the cards the bot is a useless trinket. Not for nothing, we are board game players.

The Light Speed print&play compatible with our software will be made public at PLAY 2022 gaming festival (May 20-21-22). By the way, if you are around, come visit us! We are at booth B38 and you could win a Light Speed deck :)

Stay tuned: the Tablescope fleet is incoming.
Thank you ❀️

It was a very different PLAY than last year. Firstly because masks were not there to hide faces. Secondly, because we still didn't have access to electric power on Friday morning. But mostly, because we knew you would be there to support us. It was great to meet again those who had been following us since last year and at the same time to be able to put a face to many online nicknames.

And in all of this, we were also lucky enough to make room for new faces and new memories.

The Telegram bot for playing the free Light Speed p&p received a positive reception beyond expectations, while Kosmykes continued to grow with your feedback.

Ultimately, thanks to those who came back and to those who took the risk of trying something new 😬
